Mount Rushmore & Deadwood, South Dakota September 9-13, 2010 Join Outpoint for our first vacation to South Dakota. As we go back in time to the 1800’s and visit the historic town of Deadwood where Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane lived and died. We will visit both of there graves buried side by side. The entire city of Deadwood is a national historic landmark, where the gold rush brought everyone west to find their fortune. In Deadwood you will tour the Adams House, pan for gold in the Broken Boot Mine, and take a walking tour into the past that puts the Wild West into perspective. If it’s gambling that you’re interested in, then Deadwood is the place for you. Come try your luck with a penny or quarter in the Slot machines and see how much you win. There is so much to do!
